Biking BS what the best you have heard

    After last few days I've heard some crackers from gsxr1000 plus power commander make 200bhp + and the s1000rr is 250bhp standard. Got few more anyone else got any

    a mate of mine reckons that he has seen 212mph on his standard zx10r . Would have gone faster but he ran out of road!

    heard loads over the years but recently on a selling site a young un selling a 125 said he,d just bought a new powerband and was waiting to get it fitted. kids eh!!

    BIL want a bike, he's watches moto GP, been to watch BSB with me, goes to the bikes shows but all I get from him is "i'll kill myself" well we all know that stands for. The wife won't let me [​IMG]

    That would be nice to see, but he couldn't keep the Yamaha shiny side up on a regular basis either.

    Also heard a slipper clutch is crap as it stops you spinning back wheel

    One more, a guy said he did 190 on his GSXR600.... funny thing was he said he was late as he over shot the pull off on the motorway..lol last time I heard that was when a Russian Mig was late for Farnbough air show and over shot Surrey and had to turn round in Ireland..lol

    Mine did 182 downhill with a fat bastard on it.Never quite managed it myself though.

    Yea the BIL always blames not having the £££ and his loss not mine. I know I would not be without my bike. even when I don't use it as much as I wanted

    I hate those 3 words ( I'll kill myself) when I mention bikes to friends or bring it up at work.
    It's like they think there going to jump straight onto a 1000cc blade straight after passing there test and start doing 160+mph everywhere! :rolleyes:

    :) that's what I done, bought bike in Dec then passed test in Feb. Everyone give me a few weeks to live.

    But some people aren't safe in a car, don't look ahead or drive accordingly to situation.

    Not sure if bike riders are the same, but remember seeing how bad car drivers are on track days, no real skill level, bad positioning, brake too hard, gear selection, and to think they have been the local hero around the shopping centre for years.
