I can't see how this is done. It's not a big deal, I'm just swapping the filler cap between two bikes. One looks better than the other. I have the keys etc so it's not an emergency. Otherwise I quite like the look of the vortex cap. Anyone tried it?
I thought people just swaped the whole cap, if you have the other bike there just swap all the locks over
Martin It's only the fuel cap I want to swap. If I couldn't swap the lock out of it too and left the original in I would have to change the ignition and rear seat lock instead - pain in the ass! Steve
Am guessing you just want to swop the barrel out? Will have a look at mine this weekend and see if we can't work it out between us
Cheers Steve. I've got the cap off but can't seem to see how the lock would come out. I'm thinking Martin is right and I need a black Billet machined racing filler cap?
