    Hey Guys,,

I found a Youtube Vid of a guy removing the servo from under the seat and plugging in a resitor or something to fool the bike into thinking the servo was there and active.

Anybody have any experiance in this mod?

ill try and find the vid again and post a link

There is a bloke on the US site who makes them. Think he sends them abroad too

I think he has a post saying how to make one yourself.

Im also wondering what kind of hole it leaves ? I guess there is no harm in leaving the servo in place

I just left mine in and refitted the trim panel. As long as you turn the motor back to it's original position after unhooking the cable there is no problem anyway.

It cant weigh very much and doesn't take any useable room as it's under the battery tray anyway. Looking at it maybe a lot of stuff has to come out to access it too. Not really with the effort IMO

I did this by getting the chip from the states. There is a small weight saving. Here are the details

Where did you buy it from?

So is it just one bolt at the top holding the motor in and nothing needs removing to access it?

    No, not IMO anyway :)
It just gets you some extra room and very slight weight loss really.
