mmm, its all about history!! had plenty with my lil old R6.... the blade is stonking, but we havnt bonded enough yet! ha ha yeah makes total sense, if it were me, i'd keep the blade (bias opinion obviously) as think they are better bike allround but you gixxa boys love em so fair play!! either that, or sell them both and go Grande on the new Duke of MVF4!!
Price ... well the M7's are in Mag and Al, mag a whooping 3.5+K Al are 1.8K weight is sim to BST in mag/al so aprox 4kg, but its massive imo when you ride, that said I know people who claim they are not worth the money! I love my OZ wheels they are much lighter than stock and the bike feels fresh and light!
I have the same bikes, I wouldnt sell either, they are both great and ride completly differently. The bling would have to wait.
Naaaah I dont like the MVF4, if id test rode the blade 18 months ago it may have been a different storey, the fact the GSXR is slightly bigger actually suits me due to my stature. I was shocked at how quickly I fell in love with the blade, fact is for what ever reason every time I go out I tend to take the blade for various reasons. I pick the GSXR out of loyalty I pick the blade cus I love it!!!
I have a k5 stealth and a rr11 repsol, Both are great, the gixer in my opinion is more raw and aggresive.
Yep, at one point I had to have a KR arm, but they are not as strong as OE, which is why the rd racing teams never used them, eg, Loughers Stobart & McG's HM Plant bikes. So I stuck the dosh on the front end instead :biggrin1:. 2k for all that is a good price. A monstering with the wire wool should sort the finish out. I'll unashamedly jump on the Gixer theme, I've had my 1100L 19yrs(hence my name), owes me £13k & I will never sell it. The RR7 is going the same way...
My thought exactly, the GSXR is an evil animal, it exites me and im almost scared of its raw power, the blade is as quick but just is so smoothe and sublime I love it lol
HM Plant never used them at the time because they were a HRC team and were contractually obliged to use the kit items, Hydrex & Paul Bird used them with no issues on the roads, including tt, nw200 & macau. As for strength, i can only assume your meaning the amount of flex they let you feel, as i know of 3 people that run similar arms on road bikes.
Spot on. We best stop talking Gixers the others will be getting envyous that we have the best of both worlds
