Iv just booked, so providing jhs give me my bike back friday and i don't drop it the snow at anglesey sunday ill be there !
Quick update on this, great day with the weather being better than it has been although still a tad cold in the morning.. Met Craig/ Robbo who is now addicted to track riding Also met quite a few from the TDR forum, good guy's.. Third session in the morning i had a huge moment on the exit of the first corner, (don't yet know their names). Im thinking i just grabbed to much throttle to quick as the bike so nearly spat me off, how i managed to stay on i don't know but thankfully i did. I really didn't feel i was pushing to hard so i had my tyres checked, turns out there good, then thought perhaps track is still a little cold but then why are there people much faster than i?? The traction control didn't appear to help much this time either. I think the simple conclusion is me going to fast for my ability at this stage and this really did knock my confidence for the next two sessions. I picked up the pace again later in the afternoon but once again my back wheel was doing things i didn't like so called it a day... On a positive note i did knock 7 seconds off my previous time
What time you get down too buddy? Glad you enjoyed it. The huge moment is exactly where I highsided, easily done, my bet it the TC saved ya, you just didn't realise it as you don't know what it feels like mate. Glad your ok though mate
No you came off on the left hander onto the start-finish, mine was the right hander at the end of the start finish, I had almost finished the turn and grab a hand full of throttle Im a little surprised at how much it knocked my confidence to be honest.. The left hander that you highsided on Jimbo is my enemy mate, for the life of me i just can't get it right although looking at my split times i was a second quicker there in the morning than the afternoon.., The hair pin i just love, its an amazing track, so fast... Sadly my time was 1:50, although i was consistent with lots of 1:50s, my best splits would have given me a 1:44. 1:50 is still a seven second improvement from last time..
