Haven't had a chance to really test them but they inspire a lot of confidence, should have bought two sets as I commute a lot on my blade.

I ran S20's on my 2011 blade for the last two years and cant rate them highly enough. Very stable, plenty of grip, and good turn in. I'm no racer but as a fast road tyre they suited me better than anything else I've had.

Totally agree with you mate, more than enough for road use and the feedback is great. Only realised once I changed the old set how badly they affected the handling. It's beautiful now. Tyre leader have some great buys even now on their site.

Are the S20's that good a tyre? I've got half worns on the blade I recently bought and not had a chance to properly have a good ride but a 50 profile is a bit strange for me?

Personally, I'd say the S20 would be in the top five as a fast road tyre for a 1ltr sports bike, this is backed up by most motorcycle tyre reviews. Obviously at newer tyres come out, they will drop down the list, but it's a good safe tyre for all road conditions, where as a lot of tyres are great in one area, wet riding, trackday riding, dry riding.......... The S20 is a good all rounder.

I'm a fast (Not that fast) dry road rider and they're noticably better than anything I've had before.

I had them on the r1 and thought they were ace, great dry and wet grip. But they didn't last 5 minutes. Rear lasted 4 days to be precise on the Scotland tour. We weren't hanging around but 1000 miles for a road tyre is pants IMO.

Lots of tyres out there that ofer as much or more grip but more miles.

Sorry, was talking about the s20.

The sports mart also a real good all rounder but was getting way more miles out of it than the s20.

Yeah they were good all round, think pr4's off same level grip though tbh and huge mileage. Only tyres I use on the road these days. More than enough for me. Plus I'm on the slow old triumph now ;)

Ha ha. Sleeps all day, awake all night, but it's cool.
