Nope, mine was the same ... or worse I think. Was supposed to be specific to the 08-13 Fireblade, but it wasn't even close. And the bottom pin was way too thin. I wasn't the only one back then either (same as the constands adapter) That's why I bought SteveBetts' custom made adapter from him (and subsequently sold that on after I binned the stand) Edit: Found the pic showing exactly the same issue you had Clicky piccy:
Those of you who are having problems must have the wrong adapter IMHO. This is a supply issue then. Not sure if there are any markings on these adapters to identify them? If not then it's not surprising the OEM or whoever is sending them out incorrectly. I'll have a look at mine and see if there are any id numbers on it. This is mine and there's adjustment to spare!
Does anyone have any problems with the sleev sticking out while riding? Only asking because I only ride on track and race with it and the last thing I want is something sticking in my leg annoying the crap out of me
Saw this on the Motorcycle Live and think it's the dogs bollocks version of the bike lift: 1jac Motorbike lift, lift for Motorbikes
Seen this at an Oulton Park Track Day by a forum member or members friend, R1 Monkey?? Yes it's good but it's also nigh on £400 so it was discounted from consideration reet sharpish for me!
Peanuts = monkeys (just my guess based on reading your comments on the warrior lift and seeing the pictures)
Yea that looks so much better. Sturdy top hinge and even the feet look much better quality. Kinda what I was after
After a favour. A pals bought the warrior stand but managed to loose the assembly instructions- has anyone still got there's? If so, any chance of scanning them and mailing it over? Cheers
I use the ABBA stand with front lever which lifts the ZXR clear of the deck. Mind I can't move it around the garage. The blades on paddock Stands so all sorted but great info thread.
I've just received one of these stands and was convinced the 'sleeve' that fits on to the rear engine mount didn't go in far enough, hence, not allowing either pin to go up to the stop and deep enough into the bike. Does the sleeve stand proud of the frame by a few mm? If it does, I'm presuming it still lifts the bike ok. I haven't dared risk it as it seemed a lot of weight to be carried on a couple of inches of the pin.
Hi has there been any further updates on these stands, i heard DT recalled them due to the pins flexing but they are reselling them for more and ive been told its due to the improvements is anybody using one who could give some more feedback? i am looking at this stand the new constand and the 1jac.
I use the warrior stand and can't really fault it (once set up!) for the price... I did have trouble setting it up at first pin didn't seem to line up, but machined pin about 2mm and now perfect! found a photo taken last year when changing tyres, bike at the moment stripped down since november sitting on the stand so easy to move around to work on the bike...............
Mine arrived yesterday from M&P but can’t seem to get the adjustment right to lift both wheels of the ground. Any advice Thanks Mal
Before you tighten the big bolt adjust the nuts on the thin horizontal bolt that attaches to the plate/pins as far in as they will go. This should help lift them evenly
Hi has your blade got a quick shifter fitted as ive been told the stand will not fit with a quick shifter?
