I wouldn't want to deprive you of the feel good feeling you'll get when you can lick it and not feel grit
Today I changed my tyres for some Bridgestone T30's. Had pilot road 3's on my previous bike so I thought I'd give the T30's a go!
Today I finally managed to get the RH Datatool heated grip off. Took several days and copious amounts of WD40, but now I can hopefully clean the plastic throttle tube up enough that it will actually fit on properly and allow the throttle to snap back when released.
Taxed Trigger for another 12 months, still cannot work out how a Honda Civic pays no road tax but a Fireblade pays £80 but there you go...
Today I 'av' mostly been stripping the back end to give it a well earned clean ready for tracks. Can't beat a bit of lube !!!!
RH heated grip back on, just needed the old glue residue scraping off the throttle plastic. Extended a lead so I could move the fused relay circuit in front of the battery as it was all getting a bit cramped in the old servo area at the back. May move it to under the pillion seat but can't decide at the moment.
Sold the Gsxr Brembos just ordered their replacement will break even after selling the standard calipers. Bursting to get out to the shed got lots to do got work on 5 bikes outstanding. Got my FZ600 race bike to wire up and fit a rain light, got new QR wheel spindles to fit to my road SP2, got a team spare FZ600 to race prep, got another team members FZ600 to fit a rain light and finally got my blade to finish making rearsets and fit, front m/c and brake lines and calipers to fit, TC to install, to remove pair and coolant bottles. Where did the off season go.
