I just can't stay out of there... Axel nut - 22mm i/d Pinch bolt - 45mm M8 Front calliper bolt - 62mm M10 Can't help you with the rear calliper dude... Its mounted.. Those are the sizes you order as they are the measurements from under the head of the bolt to the end of the threads !
Here is why... Bit of a polish up ... Rear caliper and brake hose banjo... Bit better... Regardless will be replacing lot ...
Anyone know sizes of the following: - front mudguard bolts - rear hugger bolts - seat bolts More Ti needed ...
Front Caliper bolts are M10 1.25 x 60mm I should know having a nightmare with Pro bolt at the moment On my 3rd set sending them back because they keep sending me the wrong ones... 1) Sent the wrong size 70mm 10mm too long! after sending them back they sent replacements 2) Right size but not Race Spec just Flanged!!!! Hopefully Third time lucky, but now can't get hold of them until Monday! Frustrated or what! Ordered 25/02/15 and still not right..... maybe by next week! Would I use them again - NO!
Be very wary about what bolts you fit, particularly to critical parts - calipers etc. There are a multitude of grades of stainless steel and the mechanical properties of many of them are completely different from the OEM steel parts. Many of them offer substantially less tensile strength than steel and are not suitable for safety critical applications. Stainless in general is also much more prone to seizing up than OEM plated parts, particularly in aluminium.
Hence critical areas done with high grade titanium and non critical / non loading done with A4 stainless
Definately M10 1.25 x 60mm (Race Spec) Page 5 http://www.pro-bolt.com/media/wysiwyg/probolt_measuring_guide.pdf
Did you ever find any of these OCD? I think Competition Fasteners do some Ti ones that would do the trick , but as they are not load bearing as such I am sure stainless ones would be fine for the rear hugger, chain guide, brake hose guide etc. which have all corroded on my bike
I used competition fasteners for all mine ... The bike is more titanium now than the cheap ass bolt steel Honda use !!!
I thought you might have, ha! Are these the ones I need for the hugger/chain guide/brake hose guide? http://www.competitionfasteners.com//6mm-button-head-726-p.asp
And yes, I need an axle nut too! The eBay link just went to a generic search page... is it an m18 I need?
