    The RAF have sent Typhoons to intercept Russian bombers off the coast of Cornwall.

    Great.

    I'm going to need to spend days convincing Steve B that the sky's not actually falling again.

    Maybe the Russians are hoping we might accidentally knock one of their ageing fleet out of the air.

    Then they could claim off the insurance and buy something a bit more up to date....

    They must be afraid of the F35. The greatest stealth fighter ever built.

    I'm mean, the RAF and the Royal Navy own some and not even they've seen them yet...

    Yeah.......what the hell is that all about. Why are they persisting with that lame duck??

    And why, in god's name, did they opt to do the completely dumb thing and not give the new carriers CATOBAR?
