Welcome Craig, another offshore rig pig here whose bought an RR. Where ya based mate, I'm on the Curlew FPSO, 3/3 not too good is it! Murmurings of us going from 2/2 2/4 on to 3/3 too. Sounds Shit! Nice bike mate,McG paint job is different! Won't see too many of them.
Hello mate, i'm on the Sedco 712, been 3/3 since i joined so no difference for me. I came from FPSO's to drilling rigs, would love to have stayed however redundancy forced my hand. As I posted earlier, i've put a deposit down and pick it up when get off, making the 3 weeks seem even longer. Bike is standard apart from a tail tidy and radiator guard, the only other mod i will look at is an exhaust. I love the McG paint job and looked at them brand new a few years back but just couldn't afford it. The seller thinks there are only 12 around but i havent been able to confirm this. What years your bike, any other mods worth looking at? C.
Just waiting for mine to be delivered before I go back lol. Mines an 09 RR-8 totally standard. I've got LOADS to do.
