the weather looked good and the roads salt free and dry so today the blade was coming out.

Managed an hour and got home cold wet and a dirty bike, great

That was not what I've been waiting four months for, it can only get better

Took the covers off mine today, fitted the battery, took it off the stands, checked it over bit of a polish, all excited and ready for a ride to Bransons tomorrow to have it serviced including the two year fluid bleed and have some HEL's fitted that I bought off Arthur many moons ago, as I type this the rain is hammering against the window...guess it'll be going up in the back of the van then

Yep you're right I'm a pussy when it comes to winter riding.I rode through 5 winters as a teen on all the Yamaha Rd's and can honestly say it wasn't that bad.I don't ride now in winter cos I have a car to keep warm in and less miles on the bike:)

I got as far as looking out the window and thinking about it.....and almost the same second..... I was reminded about all the "little jobs" that needed doing. I swear she can read my mind !

Then it rained so that was the end of that.

You might be right, however, its not the cold but the wet and dirty Blade.
