Right then, that bike is just sexual!!
What you need my friend is some Double Bubble. It's araldite type two pack epoxy stuff that you mix as you normally would with araldite BUT it take around 4mins to set. Not sure what the fully cured time is but the stuff is brilliant. I have a sachet or 2 here you could have but your probably going to be quicker using the amazon link below. If you'd like I could drop a couple in the post on Monday. (I need to make sure they are still in the tool box first though!

Clear! 2 pack epoxy 1 clear and 1 cloudy, sets clear. The 4 min thing is why it's the bomb.

    A very testing day...
10 hours of getting the fairing to fit together, and its still not quite finished o_O:mad:

All seemed to be going well... First i installed the tinted flush indicators into the side panels and soldered the resistors in..
Stripped the nose fairing off and transferred the lights etc and bolted the new one on with my F.fabbri double bubble screen and Lightech mirror blanks. All went really well and looks the nuts !
Then came the side panels and lower fairing... Lowers, no problem, straight on.. The side panels, which link it all together, wanted to spoil the day... First, after i'd clicked them in and pulled them this way and that to get the bolts in, wouldn't line up with anything on the original inner panels
Stripped all the panels back off, stripped the electrics off the inner and built up the ones that came with the kit. Bolted it back together and still getting hassle getting them stupid little plastic clips in and holding it

Had to walk away from it for the night or i can see something unproductive happening...

I thought id save posting any pics tonight so as to raise the anticipation levels ;)

After all the battling over the weekend with the fairing, today should have been a good easy day of finishing.... But Oh no !
Total fail of the whole build happened today ! The melt down after the incident was Biblical !!
All i had to do was attach the carbon lower tank panels. They have proved to be a complete bitch to get to fit right as they don't have the original posts inside to screw to the tank with, so i thought the best way would be to attach some.
The new kit came with standard panels, so i dremeled the posts off to bond them onto the carbon ones.
It was a bit tricky holding the tank and panels in position while trying to located where the posts would have to go to line up...
I thought the best method was to put a little super glue onto the post as it was seated correctly until i used some proper epoxy after.. As i went to just put a tiny drip onto the panel, boom... The tube pretty much emptied its load down the side of the tank :mad::eek::mad::eek::mad::eek::mad::eek::mad::eek::mad::eek::mad:

Once the profanities had ceased momentarily, i quickly tried to get it off with acetone but just made it worse... Had another complete flid out and raced of to my paint guy like i was trying to get a dying friend to a&e !
The guy is a genius ! I looked on at he attacked it with various grades of the finest wet and dry, a polishing mop and thank god, saved the day !

I know its happened, and if i look really hard with a certain angel of light i can see something, but hopefully thats just me being me !
I have realised tho that its not such an issue as I'm putting tank guards on anyhow !

So boys, gonna stick a thread up entitled "What tank guards" ;)

Tomorrow, she will be done !!!

Mate, i'd have loved to have had it on video myself !! The missus, who finally re-amerged tonight said she had never seen me so angry, and she has actually witnessed me trying to drive a land rover through a house in a rage before o_O

Here's a little sneaky peek for all being so lovely :D
