I know mate... Its like an avalanche ! I'll be ordering new front discs by the time the week is out too Cant have RCS 19's pumping M4's that are then grabbing OEM disc's ! No no no no no !!!! I'm embarrassed to even have them in the picture to be honest... And what the feck is grabbing the rear no no no... Underslung coming up !!!

Blackness Rides !! Yesterday was road test day... A beautiful day... Sun shining, everything sweet... All the new Alpinestar battle dress on, Go Pro attached to helmet... Show time ! Took the baffles out for starters, wheeled her out into the glorious day, pressed the button and it was like the scene from Tarzan when he did his yoddle and the birds would take off, the monkeys would flid out in the trees, the crocodile would bolt back into the water and the lions hide.... Oh how she roars... Baring in mind we haven't been out for months and everything thats been done to her from, stripping off of everything restrictive, different gearing, PC5, qat, brembos, ohlins and all... She felt all familiar, but like she had been reborn from the gods ! I kept telling myself, take it easy, get used to it again, bed the brakes in blah blah, but 3 minutes up the road and I'm out into the open countryside and long winding roads, so my nature just pinned her ! Oh jesus christ she is an animal ! First fail tho... Petrol ! The light came on so headed for a petrol station. Pulled in and within seconds an old boy was over dribbling over her, telling tales of when he was younger and the bikes he had and how beautiful she was and what a credit to me etc... Always nice to hear and shoot the breeze with an old biker ! Now, the Oberon fuel cap i put in locks itself down if you tighten it right round and i had nothing with me to loosen it so had to wait for any trade looking van to pull in the may have had some pliers or something. Eventually one such van came along and lent me some grips, but even with the use of a bit of blue roll i still managed to put a tiny dink in cap, which is a bitch. Paid, came out, had to answer another load of questions from another admirer that had stopped to sex wee over her, and then i finally got back off down the road... We do have a few very nice roadways down here, well out in the country that follow the coastline. Not too much traffic, and rarely any police laying in wait (not that there was f all they could have done about it anyhow ). She is working really well with the map i put in the PC5 but needs a little bit of dyno love soon. Obviously as i was riding her the brakes were bedding in and getting better and better, and there was one little incident were i was travelling through a village and a car went to pull out on me and i did the, grab a natural/self preservation handful, and she did a little lock up squeal that was a wake up call to get used to them ! Brembos make a hell of a difference and god know what they are gonna be like when my rcs mc turns up ! The back brake however isn't doing sod all ! Gonna have to have another go at bleeding it... Now everything else is running super tight, my forks felt they are lacking somewhat, so a call to MCT today i think for a chat ! The Ohlins rear feels so much better, but maybe a little hard for the islands potholes etc as we were more skimming along the surface a lot of the time at high speeds Ive got about 45 minutes footage of TT style craziness to edit now and start making some films for my Youtube channel, so that should be fun. Only thing that wasn't great was the rear view camera ! Works good when it works, but kept doing a fuzzy cut out thing. When i got back i took the monitor out and checked the connections and all that and it all seemed fine, so i reckon its the wireless transmitter thats shit ! Probably gonna stick a camera in thats wired directly to the monitor and see how that goes. Im going back out shortly, and i want to try and take it a bit steadier if possible and go for more flow than all out violence and really focus on whats going on with her, but I've got to say I'm really happy with the result and the general public are loving her too as i received loads of comments of amazement wherever i pulled up.... Cant wait to get over and meet up with some of my fellow forum buddies now and go out playing

awesome write up G.. can only imagine what she sounded like the baffle out! must have sounded like a MotoGP bike haha.. What a difference the gearing changes make.. just boggles the mind as to how fast these 2015 machines must be compared to our older machines with reduced gearing.. Cant wait to see the footage
