Hello all.. Used my go pro for the first time today on my first ride out of the season today. Got home and stuck the sd card in the slot and it opens the vids up in iPhoto as I have a Mac. It has saved what would be just under an hours worth of footage in 17minute and 43 second intervals Is that normal ? Why's it do that ? Cheers, B
Download gopro app, you can then edit from that to start with until you get to LC level! Yes is normal (takes longer on iphoto) but once you have the app will go to that. Plug camera to computer wouldn't bother taking the sd card out. Plenty of you tube vids for gopro tutorials
Find iWork on the torrent sites and use iMovie. Good software but as said the GP stuff is good too and free.
It's normal, saves it like that so if the file corrupts you haven't lost everything, also keeps it manageable. So.... When can we expect the upload

yes G get your finger out and get this video uploaded Same for me.. I just used imovie for editing.. made a reasonable job of my knockhill video anyways after a little trial and error
Ah, i see... I have the GP app on my phone and iPad but not on my laptop ! Lamby recommended Sony's movie maker so gonna download that later and start playing ! I might just do a little teaser trailer for now as for the big film i want to go back out with a mate so he can record some flybys and stuff Chosen some appropriate sound tracks already ! haha sounds like it going to be great!! Check on Youtube if the music you fancy is going to cause you issues.. Some music is blocked in some regions. If you go in to your channel setup and check the "create tab" and search for it in the" Ad-supported music" section.

haha yes, that's why you can use lots of music as YouTube also adds a little buy this tune from I-tunes link in your description. There is nothing more annoying than editing a video & uploading only to have youtube reject it due to music copyright and having to re-edit and change the track.
