That'll be Andy Matt! He had a far worse off than Jase at the same bend last year and came back just as strong! I've just taken out an Income protection policy with Simon Farquhar over on TDR just in case I do sumat more serious in the future!
Bloody hell mste gws. Feel really ignorant now as I've only just commented. Had no idea so I'll be blaming the new style forum. Got your 1.49 via face book ..you'll soon be back at it. Gods speed jase
Yep mine is left leg his was the right both pushing too much he's changed me as I never used to crash
Cheers Daz was on for beating my 1.49 as bike felt great not the best thing to do in February . The redmist got me that day .
Gutted for you Jase, only just read this post. Not the start to the season you wanted, but hopefully you will be able to get out there again soon. Just take it easy and don't rush it. Get sorted soon buddy.
yeah but you'd still be sitting at 1.51 lol... I personally think you should dedicate the 1.49 to me ha ha
Hi mate, hows the ankle coming on? You been put in a hard cast yet? Mine was Trimalleolar and will hopefully out of the Aircast and into an ankle 'brace' next week, thats four months since my accident so hope you are back on yours before then.
Yep pinned and 2 plates hard cast from day one told 6 weeks in plaster got my first appointment tommorow with the surgeon then one on Monday with the fracture clinic so hopefully get an update on my progress . Just want the thing out of plaster as it weighs a ton don't mind the limping about after plaster comes off but the crutches are a pain .
Jase did u cum to oulton last sat ? Pop into my garage lookin for alan ? Broken leg range rover sport ?
Sorry to hear about the ankle Jase. From my own experience with my broken leg and dislocated hip it takes a long time to get thing right again. 10 months on and leg still not fully healed but ok to walk on hip little stiff as I found out Sunday on my first track day back in the saddle, getting the old left knee down was proving a little difficult but totally enjoy the day. Get well soon.
Quick update Saw the surgeon on Friday happy with the way things are healing plaster coming off April 9th as long as all looks good on the x ray which will be 5 weeks 4 days since my op. . Fitted a new light weight plaster thank god as the other one felt like I was carrying a bag of cement round . Got full use of my toes now as plaster shorter and can change gear on a bike which is a start .
