I will waite until 2017 then. By then the blade will have traction control, lean angel meter and the eletronics for me to sync with my i-pad, i-phone and i-watch. Come on.;)

The RSV4 is to little having sat on one. And as I said I want something I will be as happy with as I am with my 11 plate. 2 years is not that long and will fly past.
I'm in no rush to change and having found a bike I truly love I can hang on for a little while longer.

Ok the new blade may come out and I may not like it but I would be surprised if that happened.

I was looking at the BM as a alternative to the blade when I got it and just glad I went for the blade.

The RSV4 is dam pretty though

What we all must accept is:

That the new blade will NOT appear until well after you originally expect it.
We WILL all be disappointed in how it looks.
We WILL all be disappointed at the lack of toys.
We WILL however be pleasantly surprised at how well it performs and how the looks grow on us.
We will excuse the fact that it cannot compete (on specs alone) with the competition. But is a lot better!
We will be a lot older than we are now and one bike change closer to the grave.
Better to get what you want now and change to the NEW blade when and if it appears.
Here for a good time, not for a long time.;)

Surely a new blade will be out in 2016 not 2017 ?

I'd get the aprollia. I see a 6ft 4 Geeza happy and comfy on one. It's a bit different than everyone else too. If money wasn't a problem that is

I'm in no rush to move and as I said I don't what to change bike when I'm happy with the one I have at the moment. When I test ride the new R1 and if it moves me that much I may go for it. But until then I'm more than happy with my Blade

    1. When I bought my 2011 Fireblade, a Honda representative told me, that a brand new V4 Fireblade will come out in 2013! I haven’t looked on my calendar yet, but I guess we have now 2015.
    2. In 2011 I changed from Suzuki Hayabusa to the Fireblade after I had a test ride with the blade and I was very happy about my decision.
    3. Last autumn I was thinking to get the new Fireblade SP until I had a test ride with some other bikes I like, such the Kawa ZX10R, BMW S1000RR, Ducati Panigale (which was the worst bike) and some other bikes as well.
    4. When I jumped back on the Fireblade after the test rides, it feels like an old, outdated and heavy bike, but I still thought that I am going to wait for the brand new blade to come, whenever it will be......
    5. By coincidence, I had the opportunity to test ride the Aprilia Factory, which I never considered before.
Man, what a bike and to make a long story short, I bought it. There is no comparison at all to the blade which I immediately didn’t like after the test ride with the Factory Aprilia.
I am looking forward to test ride the new Yamaha R1M, BMW S1000RR and the Aprilia RSV4 RF in 2015 and of course the new Fireblade in 2017 !
