Thank you Jim ! Actually thats only the second or third time I've been on that road ! I normally save my fun for the mainland as the road surfaces are terrible here, the people don't know how to drive or indicate, and if the tractors don't get you once you've survived that lot, then its the joy of the, head in the clouds, retired holiday makers Military Road, south of the island will be a good test next week ! Again,I've only tried it a few times and if it wasn't for the cracks in the road in places it would be awesome. Good test of nerves too because its the coast road over the cliffs and it drops off into the sea in a few places. Rumour has it that top gear use it on occasions ! Gonna get some good filming done down there i hope

Well, I've been busy out playing about in the sun getting some good video footage the last few days and been dodging the joys of bleeding brakes and clutches, but this evening i thought id get stuck in ! Was a bit fiddly getting it all set up right, but got there in the end... Gonna start the bleeding in the morning but it shouldn't be to bad ! Last couple of days as I've riding, the brembo M4's have been bedding in nicely and are sharp as ! Didn't realised how good they were until i had a go on my mates 09 with standard brakes and he tried mine... First thing i thought was 'these brakes are bad' ! First thing he said when he got off mine was, 'shit those brakes are good' ! Think I'm gonna need swimming goggles to catch my eyeballs for the first test ride i reckon ! Now I've put the mc's on I'm hating my clip ons even more... Gilles Variobars or a set of Harris adjustables next maybe
Wow... And if by magic, i thought id have a quick look on ebay for some new clip ons and there was a black set of Variobars with lifters in very good condition. £320 new, £150 or make an offer... I offered £120 and boom, i got them Don't you just love it when that happens !
