    Guys/gals,
Recently removed a POS exhaust from my bike (split, started to corrode) name withheld on account of "don't want sued" lol.

Any recommendations for an 09 is appreciated.

Racefit if you want light n loud
Yoshi if you want quality and able to fit db killer
    Arrow makes some nice exhausts
And of course the akrapovic but Don't get the road legal one

Cheers fella, was looking at Arrow but didn't consider Yoshi, I think Accro's are a bit pricey. What are you running??

Arrow makes good exhaust especially their last version, high position system.

I absolutely love my Yoshi carbon as sounds crazy ... But for the love of God if a bad idle is going to piss you off do not buy one!

Oh and they need a power commander as well as the bike runs very lean without one.

    dare I say it

The OEM, with the servo disconnected makes a nice noise, loud enough to be noticed, ignored by the fuzz, easily passes the track day test.. insurance friendly and cheap to replace.

now wash my mouth out with soap and whip me with brambles:eek:

Never thought of that, I think the main reason I've had aftermarket exhausts is so the ignorant peeps can hear me coming. The stock item is quiet at low revs.

Hence disconnect the exhaust valve and it's no longer quiet at low revs :)

perfer the former if I had the choice!

The servo mod is a 5 minute job and well easy. The flap opens at at about 3k-4K (I think) and give a lovely growl, disconnect the servo and you get it from idle. OK not a Akro or yoshi growl but a lot easier on the pocket.

If I remember its similar to when I had the POS exhaust on, the servo "wheel" has to be in the center position with cable disconnected ????

akrapovic looks cool from all angles, but hope you never get this view.

This one lasted 80+k and still passes noise tests
