    hi all,
i,m at a bit of a turning point at the moment, currently own 2 cars and 2 bikes. Our everyday vw family car which needs a few quid spending on it. My rs4 that i,ve always wanted and even though i,m not piling on the miles its holding its value and i absolutely love it. I,ve just 6 months ago bought a 08 tuono thats very tricked up and could never be replaced as its so unique and also love everytime i swing a leg over it, and finally my repsol blade that i bought for my 40th and has covered very little miles and is as new. Its the wifes 40th year and we just booked 2 weeks in the carribean as we have friends living out there. Could really do with freeing up some cash as both cars could do with a few items sorting out, had done a deal on tykes nc30 that i had to pull out from, and want to give her and the kids a holiday of a lifetime. I,m really stuck what to do. As much as i love the blade it doesnt make me smile like the audi and the tuono do,s. The blade would be the obvious choice but in a sentimental sort of way its my last new bike, it was for my 40th and i wanted to hold onto it forever and pass it down to either 1 of my 2 lads in the future. Any thoughts welcome or tell me to man up and get rid lol. If i wasnt such a petrol head the bank would look much healthier lol.

I've had some really nice cars in the past, but after a long period away from bikes, bought a CBR600. I'm now doing my research and looking for my dream bike..... A Repsol Blade..... I deeply regret not buying Rdr's Repsol last September, it was an 11 plate at the right price and only covered 5k.
Don't sell the blade, you will regret it.

Sorry lads just after some advice from fellow bikers who may have been in a similar position!! I do enjoy the blade just not as much as the others. I don't wanna move any of them really but just in a tight spot

Forward planning mate really. You bought the tuono six months ago and suddenly it's your wife's 40th ?? Did you not realise ?? Man up or there will be trouble  Looks like you're gonna have to sell your body cos I sure as hell wouldn't be selling the bikes. !!!

You want some cash right now, so sell the thing you like the least - sounds like byebye Blade.

(you can always get another one sometime)

Put the holiday on the cards and keep the toys. Holidays come and go. No way I'd sell my toys for a holiday. Doesn't sound like the wife is issuing ultimatums so just finance what you need to keep her sweet. Can you get logbook loans anymore?

thanks guys, its deffo not pressure from the wife she wants me to keep them all. i,m just finding it hard to justify keeping all of them on the road when i,m not using them lots and have been thinking how some extra cash could come in handy. just had a bad run of luck at moment as everytime try to put some money away for holiday something crops up that eats into it. i,m not rushing in to any decisions just yet just gotta put all my cards on the table!!

I see your point Marion and normally I,m the most organised person you'll find but the tuono was a complete spur of the moment purchase as it was so different. Obviously I knew it was the wife's 40th lol but wasn't for seeing the run of bad luck and expense we've had recently. I'm sure I'll make the right choice. Exup toy I'll keep you in mind lol

    :p

No worries mate. I hope it goes well for you but personally I'd not be getting rid.
You have some very nice toys there and whilst a Fireblade, a Tuono and an RS4 are reasonably run of the mill machines which you could find again if needed, getting rid then finding you can't get the exact same machine for whatever personal or sentimental reasons would grip my shit! ;)

If it were me I would sell both cars and the tuono, buy a camper van and turn the blade into a track bike. But that's me and your not me, so that probably didn't help at all
