    Hi All,
Just bought an 05 1000rr, it's mint and has fairly new Michelin pilot power 2 tyres.
I usually run with Metzeler Racetec k2's on my old 929. Cracking in the dry and track days but in the cold and wet I daren't have a curry the night before.
Anyway, I mostly ride for fun on sunny days with the odd track day living near brands.
I was thinking of swapping the tyres round on the bikes but have never used anything apart from super stickies. Are the pilot powers any good? Shall I just leave them on or swap them over?
So basically I'm being a bit indecisive here, but now I'm not sure.
Any help in making a decision would be appreciated.
    Cheers

Pirelli DRC, the best tyre I have used on a blade.

Why would you even think about chucking away a newish set of tyres before you even tried them?

The Ron Haslam days run Sport Touring tyres, Bridgestone 023's, now T30's, are you saying you run faster than those guys who ride on a track than you do on the road?

I'm not chucking them away I would be swapping the Michelins over with the racetecs currently on my 929. Both sets are fairly new...
