Well after surviving 2 chewings by the dogs & a cracked screen I finally broke the galaxy tab today beyond repair. I only use it for browsing and stuff so didn't need anything fancy, saw the Hudl 2 got good reviews and cheap so nipped into Tescos and voilà it's only £99! :) I've had a play and what a cracking tablet for the price. It's reduced for Easter but not advertised!

My partner and I along with 5 kids all have the hudl2's. Its a great tablet for the money.
We have had one stop working but they exchanged it for a new one no problems

I usually think you get what you pay for but occasionally a little gem comes along to kick that theory in the crackers and this is one of them!
I've played around good with it now and its better in every way than the galaxy I'm astounded its only £99! And......it fits perfect under blade seat :)

Tablets are at the stage now where it is becoming increasing difficult for manufacturers to differentiate their £300-600 product from a £100-150 one. After all the eye can only see so many pixels etc, and processing power is more than adequate on the cheap ones for what people want. I've seen the Kindle Fire at £79 which was a bit of an eye opener. Of course it will mean you have to be happy with Amazon (or Tesco) etc "spying" on you, but there again crApple and Google aren't exactly angels in that respect.

Lol I think they will die of boredom spying on me as my browser history only consists of the words 'motorcyle' and 'buff guys' :D

We bought our youngest a Hudl2 for xmas and it's a great bit of kit. We did have to return it today though, as it had 'orrible black stains on it where the official grey Hudl2 cover has rubbed and stained the white hudl while it's been closed (possibly with the heat from the tablet during charging?), and it wouldn't come off. Kudos to tesco tho, they swapped it without too much fuss. So he's now got a black one that will hopefully look a bit cleaner for longer...

My old man just bought 1 of those Hudl2's and I have to say I'm impressed with it.

    Really good value
