Evening all. Does anyone have any experience of the TTX and the TTX GP? And do you have words of advice / experience / differences? Taking it a little further - has anyone had experience of either the mk1 or mk2 TTX GP? Thanks in advance!
TTx gp uses Moto Gp technology valving which is much better at controlling oil flow. earlier TTx mk1 and 2 are still very good units and are still a very good upgrade on a standard shock. What is it you really need to know?
Sorry for vagueness - it's for my 2011 blade. So it looks like I might get my hands on a set of FGRT 813 forks (bit unexpected as I was planning on doing suspension next year, but the price is good enough not to miss). In doing so, it makes sense to get a rear shock. And I'm doing research on best options and keen to hear what people think and how they rate the different units. Will be used on road and track.
Ttx Gp aren't Moto Gp technology .... lol They are just an evolution of previous models, but all competitors, open and tuned the inside damping, even on a GP ttx. For us, common mortals, one of the 3 TTX for our blade will be good and you can't tell the differences between them.
Sorry mate - one last question: do you know which model the HO358 is? I'm a bit lost with which model numbers reference which unit (ie mark number etc), not helped by conflicting info on the Internet.
It looks like it is the Road and Track version which is a lesser model of the GP. I'd reckon you'd be better off with the older TTX 36 MkII or up to the newer GP.
