sorry for boring question but struggling to find answers on Internet, and I'm not with my bike to check. I need to know whether the front brake discs on a 2011 ABS blade are different from those on a non ABS?

    Any help much appreciated.

Think the discs are the same.

The ABS unit has 'traction rings' bolted to the discs though

Yeah see that's what I'm thinking... discs the same in principle, but do all the discs for ABS and non ABS have the holes in for the rings to be fixed...I'm not sure? I'm upgrading the front of my bike, and want to change the discs to the Brembo supersport discs, and some websites say that the part number [208973745] is for both ABS and non ABS... but some websites say that they are not for ABS. Plus the Brembo website won't allow me to check?

Not having a good day for finding answers on the web!

The right disc is tapped for the sensor ring.

Most manufacturers have the same stock numbers for non and abs CBRs. Earlier Brembo Serie Oros were designated ABS but were not tapped ie did not fit ( got BTR UK Brembo importer to cehck this for me) Later serie Oros should be OK but ask the stockist to make a visual check.

HPKs and T-drives should be OK for though.
