A very mixed weekend for me, crashed race one, and struggled race two sat.... And good stood up by my so called team mate. 'Mr Unknown'.... Cheers buddy! ps.... Was an awesome clean move.... Shocking qualy this morning, felt I was going really well, but over three second down on race 1 times but got a decent start picked few places, had a great battle with jase again who got me back in the end and as much as I tried he kept me at bay till the end. Did get a 1.41.9 though so not too bad... But lost a few places most races last 3/4 laps - really need to sort that out... Last race jase denied me my retribution as he didn't go out, went ok, was up to tenth but again lost loads of places last few laps.... But tbh, I think if jase had gone out I think it would of been the same outcome, he had the pace on me this weekend. Was riding really well and is getting much more aggressive - looked like a different rider. Well done mate. Very tired, and at times struggled to get into a rhythm this weekend and didnt get the finishes id of hopes for but still a great weekends racing and crack with the whole crew. Was fantastic, thanks for coming down and cheering us on, really helps when it isn't going your way.... Can't complain, bikes in one piece (ish) and Dave is driving home! Cheers buddy.... Me I'm going to raid the beer fridge lol Ps - Andy, you theiving scouse Cnut!
You may have hit the nail on the head ......Very Tired ! In the ideal world perhaps a day off prior to travelling just a thought.
Yeah mate, had a big effect, plus not having the test day on a track like cadwell that I didn't know too well took its toll tbh. But can't complain.... I enjoyed the last two races which is the main thing
As I said before mate, the day I can't keep up with you ill get a personal trainer.... That's if wifey lets you back out to play
Sounds like a tough day, but hey you finished, So have a few beers and look forward to the next time. .
Yeah - least I don't know what to expect at rockingham. Another new track ha ha. Tbh, jay is cock on, fitness is a big thing if you want to compete.... No surprise 90% of the top 5 of each class are either clearly in the gym or built like racing snakes! Lol
I must admit fitness does play a big part. I've tried to do some leg squats in an effort to stop the aches and pains after a full day on track. Doesn't work, still can't walk properly on the Saturday!!
Well what a great race weekend that was nice to meet everyone and a great turn out , heres a few pics of jimbo and cookie from the weekend .
