I just finish giving my Blade an oil change, spray down with ACF50 and put all the body work back together only to fined the sub harness 20p black connector is outside jamming between the fork and the inner upper cowl!!! It's says in the service manual that it sits behind the inner upper cowl but i can't seam to find a space for it:mad: Does anyone know where this goes? Please don't say i have to remove the fairing again!... Any help would be greatly welcome.

    Cheers

    Trev.

No you don't, but you have to be careful... inside the top fairing there is a little trumpet like connector it goes onto that connector .... but be careful if its the bit i thinking about and does the other end have a tube fitted to it ....if not copy the picture part and send it to me ....i have split the bike that much i could take it apart and rebuild in the dark....ha ha

No i know the bit your talkin about the diaphragm! The part im havin trouble with is a 20pin black connector block that carries the wiring for headlights, indicators, clocks etc all the pics, diagrams in the service manual show free from where it is usually housed in the near side top fairing but it looks like it should attached to the inside near the top but the pics are confusing

No that bit fits inside the lower part of the fairing, if you go down beside the wheel and look up through the fairing there should a plastic thingy sticking out well behind that there is a square space that were it fits you just need to make sure its turned round the right way so it fits flat in ....hope this helps

If you have any problems i will PM you my number

Hi i've had a look at the whole area between the left fork and the inner upper panel and also looked through the gap in the outer fairing and it looks like i've not put the wiring back correctly!! So what i'll do is nearer spring i'll take some photo's of what's wrong and post them and maybe i could get some pictures from you and some others to give me an idea of how it should be. Thanks again for your help

    kind regards

    Trev
