Clutch Fluid Bleed

    Hi,
    Can anyone guide me to where the bleed nipple is for the clutch to be bleed and new fluid put in.... oh i have a Honda CB1000R 2010 so i guess it will be the same as the 2007 blade ?

    On the 07 the bleed nipple is on the slave cylinder, just above the front sprocket.

    And the fluid is in a small reservoir on the left bar.

    Don't quote me but I'm sure my 08 has a cable clutch.

    Yeah the 08 onwards is a cable clutch so...... :confused:

    08 CBR1000RR is a cabled clutch, but that is not what we are talking about here ;)

    Why did Honda change back to a cable clutch after '08? Always assumed that a hydraulic clutch is better and therefore 'progress'...

    Customer feedback, cost, feel........who knows? The HC that was fitted to my old Exup 1000 RU was like a switch. It was a bastard to slip when you needed to.

    Changed back to cable on cost grounds, cheaper to produce.;)
