Shock Removal - Exhaust?

    Does the exhaust need removing to install a new shock? - Yoshimura R77

    Got a bit of time tomorrow to sort but will leave it for now if the exhaust needs removing as its a ball ache :)

    Yes it does you will not get enough clearance to remove the shock without the exhaust removed, I used two axle stands under the rearsets to support the bike ;)

    Cheers... got an abba stand so won't be an issue just hate removing the damn exhaust lol.

    I know what you mean, easy enough job just cover spring in rags it's a bit of a wiggle job getting the he shock out :)

    Cheers ... will give me a chance to polish the pipes up and sort the linkage out properly I guess ... :)

    2 minute job taking off a racefit exhaust! ;)

    The real pain is taking out the lambda sensor, count the amount of turns you have to wind back the cable to remove it

    Lambda sensor is coming off! ;)
