Has anyone used these or recommend them? I have ordered it as sometimes the gear shift doesn't feel great, a friend of mine has got a GSXR750 K7 and his gear rod snapped the shaft! Since then I've been paranoid haha plus the standard one that's on there doesn't even do anything.
They seem to be a forum favourite... loads of us have got them. I found it made the changes more positive and eliminated false neutrals from clumsy-footed changes... I wouldn't be without one!
Worth the money! I didn't realise how much they made a difference till I put one on and tried it, positive gear changes every time
Thanks guys glad I ordered it now haha I do find sometimes there are clumsy gear changes at slow speeds so hopefully this will be as good as you make out!
you won't "feel" the difference as such.. but will be just solid changes as you originally expected.. I've had one for years.
The bottom pic shows a 'modified' bolt holding the shift rod onto the shaft and it also seems to be sitting further out. Does the splined shaft not have a recess which prevents the shift rod coming off if the bolt slackens? Sitting this far out will it sit right on the splines with bolt in place? Or is this just a generic picture and it fits like it's supposed to on the blade.
Kept getting false neutrals while doing track days...... not had one since fitting the above.......... well worth it
That's part of gilles rearsets or shifter kit, it sits a little farther out than OEM part. Oem part fits normally.
Anyone got a photo with the shaft support fitted on a blade? I've got an HM GP fitted and I'm sure someone here said it gives nice changes with the 2 together
As said they are the dog's danglies, and one of those things that really should come fitted as standard.
