Well BM and and r1 both have wierd eyes but I could prob live with the R1 droopy eyes, OCD can't handle the cross eyed beemer
One of the droopy eyes flashes when you press pass or high beam. Looks like sloth on goonies when he gets his baby ruth chocolate bar ha
I saw a new R1 today on track and wow! It's in a completely different league to all the other bikes out there. MCN were testing it along with the H2. The H2 was no where near it and doesn't look as pretty as the R1.
Looks much better in blue than red imo.. The look is growing on me see in the MCN shootout it was placed top ahead of the BMW! The japs are back on top! Well perhaps until the rsv4 is reviewed
I agree the blue does look better, but have to say I don't think any of the paint schemes look great IMO (no offence to anyone that has one)
How small is the bike in real life Daz? I'm hoping it's not like the RSV4 as that's just too small for me
Hi daz I went on sat to look at one of these he had one blue one red the red had sold he said numbers are limited until July or something like that is it that good iv fallen for it straight away I saw Adam jenkinsons at brands bsb superstock 1000 bike wow wat a bike that's what made me go look on sat what are they like to ride did yam fit the exhaust for u ? Coz u need a little box to take the light out on the dash don't u to confuse the acu did u loose the motor for the ex up valve aswell weight saving lol looks mint well jell bud enjoy it

I took these whilst working at The WEC 24hr Le Mans a couple of weekends ago. This is the new factory R1 Superbike run by YART. One of the most beautiful pieces of kit I've ever seen. I want one
Er it won't let me do skids but it pulls wheelies well with the anti wheelie off or so,I've been told. It really is awesome.. I've always been a Honda man but it's gonna have to be some blade to make me go back now.. She's going on track once I've had the first service done No lights on the dash although the yam dealer did fit the akro for me. I've a cowl on order as well as the titanium link pipe to make it a full,ti sytem.. I kid you not that no expense has been sparred . The electronics, looks and overall getting a fatty on appeal have all been ticked. They ride aswell as reviews say if it better. I was surprised they are 7kg lighter than the blade and you can tell whilst it's being ridden. It feels so planted and makes the average rider like me much much better.. Haha rob I've done ok with the bikes I've had. I've got an understanding wife lol. No kids yet so these are classed as my babies Col,they are light and nimble but not as small in appearance as the rsv4. I've rode the 2011 aprc factory and 2013 aprc factory. Both fantastic machines but not quite as good as the r1 I think. I've not rode the new rsv4 yet but it looks lovely but not a drastic enough change from the 2013 model plus it's 5 or 6 k dearer .. Micheal Dunlop smashed his superbike up at cooks town at the weekend getting a bit giddy..
Lol just a new hrc transfer cable and a rear hrc caliper captive bracket I'm not a traitor. Sure I'll ne back I'n a few months
I asked in local yam dealer and no demo bikes full stop! Yamaha might have 3 or 4 bikes later in the year as a pool that dealers can request for test rides, but not confirmed yet
Daz that it awesome!! Suddenly even looking at my Blade it feels 10 years out of date. Honda need to pull their finger out. I too have been a Honda Man for years, but that new R1, Aprilia and the 1299s or R are miles ahead.
