Hey guys and gals I cannot make my mind up between the Dunlop and the Metzeler  it's driving me crackers!
I've read the tyre test in PB mag and they draw! I've watched MCN's Neevesy video on YouTube and Dunlop's video! The Dunlop seemingly has better feel and faster turn in but the Metzeler are more comfortable and better in the wet! I know they will feel differently on different bikes. Neevesy use a 675 Daytona and PB used BMW S1000r! Has anyone tried them back to back? I currently have the original Sportsmart on my Blade at the mo! Thanks in advance for any help with my ball breaking decision

    Forget the Sportsmarts mate.
    M7RR's are "way" better. Honestly

For the last two years i have ran sportsmarts and have to say they are brilliant in every way and won't let you down ! They grip so well in every condition and return really good mileage !
Because of all the hype, i fitted M7RR's last week ! Ive only got about 30 miles on them so far and they are feeling nice too, but id say i have to agree some what with what the mcn guy reported ! Toss a coin dude, you won't be disappointed with either and they'll both do the job very well and do everything you want from them !

Hel Trev.. As G and Col say above, thats me been running the M7RR for the last 12 months with 2 track days under my belt. Best tyre I've ever used.. its a confidence thing for sure but no question a cracking tyre..

    Hi mate

I've done around 2800 miles on the rear now and it still has life in it yet. 2100 of those miles were tearing up Spain while on tour, so more abused than normal.

They will be there or abouts life wise with the Sportsmarts but have a better feel and give more confidence than the Sportsmarts ever did and I really rated the Sportsmarts as you know.

I'm on 3rd set of sportsmarts & can't fault them especially in winter or crap conditions, also get high mileage out of them....however we have metzelers on the BMW RR and they excellent too although that bike only used in dry.
I'm going to give the metzelers a go on the blade next, but I think they both excellent tyres.

I had Pirelli on my CBR6 I don't think they have the mileage to compete they are supposed to be really good but mileage and wet grip are a must ;)
