See how the bobbins are not resting on the stand?

I think you need to look at your picture again. Your pic makes it look like the stand is resting on the bolts that hold the bobbins on. In my pic the stand is under the bobbins , although it may look like the bobbins are on the stand they are not.

Don't be a Girl, that will bend easily the 3-4mm you need.

Turn stand on it's side, place foot on one end and pull up with your hands on the other side.
It'll splay it wider no problems and will then fit perfectly.
Had a Warrior stand of the same design that needed this tweek

Fixed my "broken" hid. Thought I had cable tied the connector to where it joined the main loom, but must have forgotten to do the dipped side and it had worked loose

Then fitted the velcro pads for the kriega tank adaptor.

Also had to fix some bits on the Missus' NSR. Rear brake switch adjustment was so bad that the light only came on when pressed very firmly, one of the tail/brake bulb holders needed "tweaking", and then I found out her front brake switch was fooked. Luckily all fixed for free apart from the switch which is costing £13 delivered from David Silvers, hopefully the new one will last another 20 years.

Decided to take the tail tidy off to see what she looks like.. Quite like the clean look at the back so may have to fabricate a bracket for the number plate from the exhaust hanger. Also fitted a full probolt titanium fairing bolt kit.. Oh and a new fuel cap kit!

Really? I'll go hunt one down then.. The fancy rear light I bought from CustomLED has the integrated indicators but never used them, so all I'm thinking about is a plate hanger with an LED

Well just spend 4hrs cleaning the bike for tomorrow afternoon / evenings 10 drive down for my magazine shoot.. Even discovered I had carbon wheels under all the dirt :p

Took the mirrors off as well and I'll really liking the "track" look..

Rode to loomies where I met up with @lambchops @Womblewizard @JimGreen @Blackness @Rr-Len and a couple of others, had a quick ride along the A272 towards white ways cafe, was great fun and nice to see a few of the lads from here! Managed 170 miles all in with a detour on the way home via the H-cafe
