I have added a 50.00 set of headers mate, take them to your local fab man and get him to cut the cats out or replace with link pipes, I rekon total cost 100.00

I know what you mean about the yosh price but new you could add another grand to that price.. BUT like I say the 06+ system does not fit (as far as I remember) the 04+ with out mods to pannels.

 

added them to my watch list, If they are still there after payday i will buy them.

 

Cant say what it would sound like with gutted cat chambers but link pipes would be better or if you would gain much but if your bike is higher miles then the cats can block up, rare but they can block up or collapse so no cat no chance of blockage..

Each time you think of putting an exhaust on your bike put some money in a jar like a swear jar before you know it you will have the 600 notes....lol

 

by buying them i will still have the originals so if i go wrong i can revert back to standard headers.

We have a prsision engineers just down the road from where i work so they might be able to cut out the cat and weld in bits of stainless rather than trying to line up a load of link pipes.

 

Its easy to remove the cats mate, cut the back off (out of sight) remove cat and replace section, the key is 1mm cutting disc's

Na it wasn't from a dealer mate. The guy is willing to bring it up for petrol money. He's only an hour away so it isn't too much hastle for him. He ended up paying just over 5k for it, which isn't bad considering it's got the full akra evo system on it and with so few miles on it.

No need mate he's already been telling me that he's going to join as soon as he gets the bike.

He's going to get the bike delivered to my place. That way we can give it a good going over before handing over any hard earned.

He's said that the leathers and camera are coming out for the arrival. To be honest I was a bit worried

Cheap full hydra system on here at the mo, ok its not the TI Serpent header system BUT itll be a million miles better than stock.

 

We can remove the cat fairly easily mate. I have an 04 system with the box there and the cat matrix removed?
