Hi folks, newbie here despite having many rr's over the years, I've finally ditched the mrs so treated myself to a Repsol SP, couldn't be happier, well I could, if it sounded better! Been trawling the internet for a replacement exhaust with more of a growl, only one I can find so far is the Austin Racing GP1 option which sounds pretty damn good, just wondering if anyone out there knows of any others which may be available, thanks in advance for your help!
I fitted a race Akro to my pal Danny's 2014 SP, try and search the forum for this under my name.. It sounds great without being obnoxious
As with any of the after market exhausts, they'll perform ok without a power commander, but they'll always perform better if they're custom mapped.
Hi and welcome buddy, nice bike. I have a Honda Akrapovic for an SP or any 2015/15 ABS Blade that has done only about 1500 miles, retail cost was £1100 don't know if you would be interested?
Great looking bike "Methodman"........... But I would say that, I just couldn't justify the SP, I don't think I a good enough rider to appreciate those extra little bits, but live in awe... LOL.
Beckers, thanks for the reply, but I think i'm going to go with the Austin Racing can, good luck selling though! Jim, I couldn't justify the SP either as I'm no tarmac king but I just had to have it! Plus planning a few trackdays this year and convinced myself the little extra bits will help, and at the end of the day I wanted to treat myself so just went for it haha
Lovely SP, I'd need to leave the wife and sell the kid to get one! WRT to exhaust the growler is probs one of the louder ones so check the DB levels, I guess it would have trouble at most trackdays without an appropriate baffle.
Have you looked at the Arrow cans? I've just fitted an Indy one to mine and it sounds great and to top it off they're a lot cheaper than akrapovic especially if you cut out the middle man and order straight from Italy There's a few different ones to choose from, titanium, carbon, alloy etc
