It's in good ole excel. Ping me your email and I'll send it to you.

Easy to use just choose the maps you want to compare and TPS% and you can compare up to six maps. If you're excel savvy you will work out how to use it quite quickly otherwise I can give you a quick lowdown.

Really useful it you are creating maps with an AT. Like you said you get reversion at certain rpm causing the AT to give weird results. I also got problems where I tend to engine brake and change gear.
You can identify areas where the AT is continuing leaning the AFR and take appropiate action.

Created a map from scratch for my CB1KR with decatted Leo Vince, then later got a custom map, the results were pretty close together!!

Holy mother! Removed the OEM (it pretty much fell off due to rust) and fitted the Yoshi and loaded the map. Got the family out to witness the first start, it sounded like satan having an orgy with a hareem of screaming banshees!
Not joking my neighbour came out (BBQ tongs in hand) wondering what was disrupting his garden party.

After wiping the blood from my youngest's ears went out for ride, the throttle response was much stronger especially mid range nearly spat me off! fooking awesome. Went pass Windsor Castle and the even the Queen was wondering why concorde was back in service.

.....think I might put the baffle in:)

Email on its way Slick, cheers.
Wife a whizz on Excel, so she tells me, I only dable, see how it goes.

Tig welded it into the pipe where the std honda one was.

I have read you post on CB1000rr forum about using Autotune already, some good tips there.

Can't seem to get the map switch to work tuning off logging Autotune, read somewhere else some pointers, so trying again.

When I've rode with Autotune on, only done runs up n down the motorway as different TPS and rpm or throttle closed as should only put logs in 0 TPS which isn't saved.

Been looking at your map and it looks like they started out with a 504 map and modified that, some areas the same and some way way different.
Just shows that it's not just one map suits all.

I found that on cars too when mapping them, as we rely on TPS and not a air flow meter like most modern cars do as they model fuel to the airflow it sees.
You can see the same trends can be seen in all the maps for our bikes, but each has different fuelling needs , I guess cam timing, head castings and other slight machining differences is the reason.

Quick question do you have any references on how to disable the PAIR valve?, my last CB1000R just needed a marble to bung up the PAIR hose, I think the CBR needs a bit more work.

You can either fit blanking plates to the cam cover like I did and remove all the pair valve gear or block the hose that goes to the air box on the right hand side.

Well I'm a girl then, when I first got my bike, it used to scare the sh#t out for me with the baffle out and no ear plugs, it sounded so angry.
I had just passed my test, might take it out again.

    Man up !!!

Found some easy instructions if you just want to block the inlet hose to disable the PAIR.

Blocking the PAIR shouldn't make any difference performance wise. It may reduce popping on the over run.
Total removal will declutter the area under the box.

I'm only doing it because I will be fitting an Autotune.

Whats your AT making of the map?
Before fitting the AT though the bike was running fine it was definitely rich, bike stank of fuel.

This is the AFR map I am running, I run slightly leaner in the cruising regions

    afr.jpg

Now I have fitted the AT it's leaning out the map , is yours doing the same thing? - still pulls like a train though!.

Should get my POD-300 in the next few days so should be able to see on the fly whats actually going on.

Once this is sorted I will amend the fuel and AFR to gear advanced, you tried this yet?

I'm now trying a map from Richard from Dynojet ok for a R77 with baffle and had to take fuel out in quite a lot of areas and add some in a few places too.
Just got on the motorway at night and done runs in 5%,10%,20% and so on til all throttle positions covered and rev'ed out as much as will go in top.
The if it was -8 I'd take away -3, if it was -10 take away -4, just little bits slowly.
