I have been waiting for my new Asv levers to arrive and tracking them on myhermes ( I know they are cheap but shit ). Anyway I tried to get it delivered to work so reception would definitely sign for it. So, myhermes online tracking says it was delivered this morning and signed for but it definitely wasn't! I couldn't call but online chatted with hermes customers service and couldn't give me a signature or name... Has to be investigated!!! But.... How do I stand with eBay and getting my money back?
Contact the seller as he has the contract with My Herpes. As for ebay, well they will do whatever they want, but it shouldn't be a problem if the seller sent it as insured and signed for.
That is a far more suitable name for them, a bit like myHerpes delivery people.... Spotty, smelly and tickly
Thank you, that makes me feel better. I thought because it said "signature obtained" I might be buggered. Although I really wanted my levers!
Had this before in the past... phone up Hermes and tell them they haven't been delivered and for them to investigate, they will miraculously turn up a day or two later...
Got to say upto now I have not had an issue with Myhermes and sold a full bike in bits with no issues.
Being there with them ask Jim green ,took nearly 3 weeks in that time he received a pair of women's boots it was only supposed to be a tail tidy.i have never used them again and won't but that's not to say everyone has same experiance.on another occasion Ian e bought a brand new akraprovic worth £900 and they left it in the wheelie bin with no card ,just imagine if the bins were emptied that day goes without saying
I use Myherpes all the time and like the convenience of dropping the parcel off rather than wasting days waiting for couriers.
MyHerpes are cheap and they are crap. Question is are they good enough for the price? I've had mixed service from them but it is borderline as to whether or not I think they are worth the potential hassle.
I never had a problem with them until recently when they lost an item that I sold on ebay, this was the real test of their service in which they failed dismally. The item was scanned in by the delivery courier and then never tracked since, which smacked of a thieving courier. Then they took 3 weeks to get back to me with a claim for lost item. After not contacting me back within their own allotted time I had several live chats of which they claimed to have nt been given enough time of which they were already well outside of and I had to show them screen grabs of their own previous messages to prove that the claim should have been processed long before now. After lots of promises of contact from them and ignored complaint emails that I had sent I had a right go at another one of their Live Chat guys who gave me a phone number to call if they didn't get back to me within the next 48hrs, which the didn't. So I rang them and finally got through to someone who helped instantly, although I didn't get what I would consider a full refund as I charged for packaging materials only £4 more than what Hermes charged me for posting, but they only refunded me their postage charge and the item sale cost, leaving me out of pocket for packaging costs after all the hassle I had to go through just to get that back on the basis of , in their words, "That's what you signed up to when you agreed to use the service". SERVICE, WHAT FECKING SERVICE!!!!!!! Hassle, that's all I got from them, and one unhappy customer. W@nkers!!!!! [rant mode off]
