simple answer no, don't think the bike went above 6 thou revs all day. Did meet Jenny Tinmouth at the Ponderosa on her repsol sp
Can't say I have ever even tried to work out what MPG the bike can get...........fuel light comes on put more fuel in then ride it till light comes back on and repeat! You want high MPG get a scooter!
How the feck did u do that? My last three fills have been 37.5, 38.2 & 38.8 mpg!!! I have been giving it some tho.
my deisel car is for mpg and comfort, my blade is for FUN, FUN, FUN and more FUN, never checked the mpg
Aah, thats ok then! Thought there was something wrong with my bike. lol. I know I used to get almost 45-50mpg from both my old 918 Blades. Fuel injection must be the way forward eh! I have just fitted a PCIII so with a little fettling I'm actually expecting some mpg increase. Am I wrong to think that?
I only started keeping an eye on mine to see what it costs me in fuel over the year. Not really bothered but it's something to do! I only usually cover around 1000-1500 a year!
How good is the mpg meter on the clocks? I've been doing mine from the mileage and amount of fuel used.
I seem to get the same amount out of a tank weather sensible or not it always seems about 100miles until the light
Have you got a Power Commander on it as that will make the injectors open more than the bikes ECU sees and will calculate Mpg wrong I think.
Best way is to fill up empty then fill up and work it out manually..and compare that to the reading from the speedo to see how far its off..
Errrrrrr mpg discussions, on a missile that weighs 200kgs, no no no no no! Step 1, Fill up Step 2, Rev the nuts of it. Step 3, Return home and wipe big fat grin of face. Step 4, Wake up next day and do it all over again.
