Don't forget to get a lambda bung Jim saves having to muck about with trying to screw that back in after, PDQ in Slough sell them for about a tenner
Getting the bike finished for now. Got an sp subframe, some bargain spark plugs and the replacement longer titanium spindle
Funny enough I fitted them before coming to work! First photo with just driving light led fitted and 100w normal bulb in the main beam side Second photo both fitted
@mikesouthby has some photos of the wiring on his post led headlamps! It's a bit of a squeeze to get all the wire, box and heatsink in but it does go and with caps back on you wouldn't notice any difference. Will try and get a photo tonight or tomorrow night of how they perform on a country road
Thanks Steve, there are quite a few differences on the 2014/2015 exhaust system, larger diameter manifold down pipes, larger diameter from down pipe to slip on, cat is in the downpipe not in the silencer, so going to make sure the 02 sensor is still the same size fitting as my old 2011 bike, if so I have one ready to go. Now I can see why my RaceFit off my 2011 bike wouldn't have fitted. Differences in pics Bottom Picture shows 2014/2015 downpipe on the left and pre 2014 on the right. In the picture below, you can see the difference in the diameter of the 2014/2015 bike on the left is larger than the downpipe on the right which is a 2008 - 2013 downpipe, hence why a slip on from the earlier bike wont fit a 2014/2015.
The spending on my Blade now , will have to stop for a while as I've just brought a new MTB . Brought a. Lapierre Zesty 427 AM .
Removed wheels this morning to get tyres fitted I had delivered on Monday. All back together by 2pm. Scrubbing in tomorrow.Need a beer now.
Took the wheels out to swop front discs over to new wheels, fitted new 90 degree valves ready for tyres to be fitted in the morning. Also fitted new titanium pinch bolts, it's not till you compare the old with new titanium you see how much they have discoloured and corroded
Busy day on the bike again, had new tyres fitted by @arthurbikemad onto the OZ piega's, then fitted the wheels along with the front and rear titanium spindles. Then went out for a bit of a ride to scrub the tyres in and ended up doing 140 miles! New wheels and tyres feel good
