Anyone got these on their blade?
I'm stuck between getting the Renthal chain & supersprox rear sprocket....or sticking with renthal front/rear sprox.
There's also the DID gold chain& sprocket kit which is a possible.
Price diff isn't an issue, just need the mileage out of it & a bit of bling :) Thoughts please?

Not sure about longevity on the chains but if you're fitting it yourself one with hollow joining link is much easier. The supersprox should easily outlast the renthal if it's mileage you're after.
A bling chain and sprockets is on my to do list so be interested to see the what you go for.

I have a DID gold chain Supersprox rear and renthal front. Only been on for 3000 miles but no bother and apart from the initial chain stretch when new all is going well.

Supersprox are very heavy, that area is the last place you need extra weight. I'd go with Renthal lightweight hard anodised rear sprox.

Thanks I didn't realise that, think I'm getting blinded a bit by the bling!

They're still lighter than standard steel sprocket and will outlast hard anodised alloy sprockets. If it's max mileage you're looking for and not max power at the sacrifice of durability, then go for the supersprox.

    Supersprox on a road bike.

Saving a few grams is pointless even on a Track Bike for us mere mortals never mind a Road Bike

Thanks everyone, I'm going for the supersprox/ renthal front & gold chain :)
Added bonus is the bloke wants one so I can bathe in the bling one upmanship as I wheel it very very slowly past him every day :D

Ran a super sprox on the last set and very happy with it. After 20k+ apart from the black anodising wearing through the actual teeth were in nearly perfect condition.

My only complaint is the gold carrier has a rough machined surface so when it gets dirty it takes a bit of cleaning to get pristine. Running a Rethal at the mo, done 6k+ on it and still looking good, easily to clean too.
