DSCN1941.JPG I've just got back from Donnington, with my 12 year old. He got the day for his 12th birthday. What a day, they are great with the kids, he had a ball. Even got his knee down! If you have a kid Just GO.

I'll put some pix up later.

Awesome, tempted by something like this myself, though no doubt my step son who is also 12 would love a go too, the git would probably beat me so I would just have to do the CBR600RR stuff so he isn't on the track at the same time, lol ;)

DSCN1875.jpg DSCN1880.jpg DSCN1894.jpg DSCN1917.jpg DSCN1923.jpg DSCN1956.jpg Starts with a briefing and a meet with the track instructor, The Track guy 'Alex', I think was great with Thomas, really got to his level and gave him confidence, as he was so excited, (he couldn't remember his name at check in.) He got a few laps of Donnington following Alex, from what I could see they weren't hanging about in the corners. Next into Park Ferme'. Lots of cone and corner work. It's all made great fun, and not too much pressure put on them.
If you have £200.00p and a Kid, it's the best £200.00p you'll spend this year. It's something they will remember for life.

How good at riding do they have to be as he has only pulled away a couple of times on an SV650

Well my son does have a Motocross KTM85 so is quite used to bikes, but others were not so experienced, I'd say if they were good on a pedal bike and could use clutch and gears you'd be okay. Perhaps a taster day on a Motocross bike first, to get the best out of it, if you have that in your area.
