Tried this morning from 0830, 122 calls before I got through to the "line " . Hung up after 20 minutes, meanwhile I was also online trying. Eventually got through online about half 12 and I could get my departure date 7/6/16 from Heysham but couldn't get my return 11/6/16 to Heysham. All I could get was Sunday 12th or Friday 10th early which would mean missing the senior. I'm just giving up now , ive been twice and loved it but that is so frustrating I reallycant be bothered with the hassle.
3 hours on 2 phones and the internet… eventually got it booked ,not the ferries i wanted but at least i am booked in. its getting ridiculous now. it used to take 3/4 of an hour to get through , last year it took 4 hours because it was a bank holiday over here. The worst part is that when you eventually get through on a mobile phone ,you get a recorded message for at least half an hour before someone talks to you ,whilst being charged 63p per minute!.. 63p per minute? don't they know i am from yorkshire ?
Well I'm going in car with 4 mates going 3 ed till 6th only time I have spare was thinking of taking the bike but the bloody weather is shit at times think we will be camping
well that disses my theory that they open the phone lines at steam packet company at 8.30 and all p*ss off out to macdonalds for breakfast.

Me and a few mates have stopped going to the TT got so pissed of with night crossing's on days we didn't want we go to the Manx gp instead now I know its not the TT but I can't be doing with all the hassle anymore
Managed to book through email but took 24hrs over all!!! Couldn't book online coz taking a van which doesn't make sense as its shorter than most bloody campers!! Don't care now as I'm going for the 1st time and can't wait!!
Yes not so busy still good racing especially if you're into classics we camp but I'm sure they still do homestay
The homestay operates for the TT and the Manx/Classic but its getting more and more popular so get your booking in ASAP.
I've had no problem booking for many years now, I just don't expect them to have hundreds of operators manning the phone for one day, book online at a time when it will be quieter, simples,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Yes I get that Beckers but when I eventually got through there were no sailingsleft for the Saturday after the senior. Or Friday after the senior, only sailings I could get was early Friday morning , defeats the purpose or late Sunday night into Liverpool.
exactly ..2 of my mates didn't manage to gets ferry back until the wednesday after the tt had finished last year due to the ferries being booked up
