So i bought these near 8 months back, just before i think i broke my leg. Finally feeling better, and off the pain killers - i actually feel like doing things...!] Got my bike out of the garage, and took the nose cone off.. Noticed one of the rings is not adjusting - and the adjustment nut is slipping in the plastic thread - so have taken the light apart and will try to fix this..
Well was good while it lasted...got it on..rings are white..inside demon eyes are red... Switching between low and high beam did not work well.. Now lights are not turning on...fuses look okay under seat...! Any ideas... Anyone?
Beginning to think no one has done this mod before... anyway tried this morning, lights worked - but then when i flicked the high \ low beam from the original switch they stopped working again.. Also thinking the red is so illegal!
Still trying to get my head around the ring and Demon eye, high beam and low... and how to get it all working! Sent to me by http://www.ktmotorcycle.com/ They said i can leave the red demon disconnected - or maybe wire it up with a switch for when i want to use it...they also said its day time running lights and not very visible once the low beam is on... Also reading the manual, the switch in there loom turns low beam on and off..i dont think this is working...will try again when i get home...or looking at my second pic..looks like low beam is on... Next question would be how do i switch to high beam... Ignition on but bike was off..so not sure of this is the issue? Also reading through this..http://ridecbr.com/forums/topic/angeldemon-eyes-cbr250/
Not sure if it's the same for your bike, but this may help: and this I should be lambchops bloody PR agent!!....
thanks will check it out.. also found this.. http://www.1000rr.net/forums/modifi.../76336-hid-installation-cbr1000rr-2009-a.html am speaking to the Op on email for help...fingers crossed..
Nearly at the point of giving up..its a very tight fit with the rear cap on as the rear of the bulb sticks out too much..even with adjusting the bulb to go forward the ring touches the front glass and its pushing the plastic that has the glass attached out.. Thinking the ring may melt the front..? Thinking this was a big waste of money!
