2014/15 exhaust on a 2012/13 Bike

Does anyone know if the exhaust from a 2014/15 bike will fit the 2012/13 Bike?

Seen a stunning Akrapovic Megaphone Exhaust but it is only available for the 2014/15 model and i have the 2012 RR-C plus its about £250 Cheaper than the TM Exhaust i want.

I think a little fabricating and you caould get a reduction sleeve made from the Can so it slips onto the 2012 Headers. Need to properly look at it and work it out, but looks do-able

 

Or maybe try a seal on it like from 600rr, my 600rr has a seal joining link pipe to headers but the blade doesn't. Just sleeves over

 

Yes, thats what i was thinking, i reckon you could do it from a 2014/15 can onto a 2012/13 bike but not a 2012/13 can onto a 2014/15 bike. i need to look at cat positions etc to see if it is as easy as it seems

 

I may be wrong but I think cat is in end can on yours, mines in headers

 

ah OK, so may not be possible then as the positioniing of where the headers stop and the can starts may be different.
