Hi guy, I am about to order the above but have been doing some searching and am now not sure whats best  Can you guys confirm if the 09-10 cb1000r (4 injector connector and 1 tps) pc5 fits the cbr1000rr 08-? I am under the impression it is the better option as it takes its tps reading right from the tps like the old pc111 and not from the main harness like the cbr1000rr pc5 does (2 injector connectors and tps connector into main harness)

    Cheers

PC5 is fine to use on 08. Arthur is the man for this sort of stuff and i myself was the first person to run a PC5 on an 08 in the country, on my old boys old race bike.

Check 1000rr.net for info on this....
Memory is hazy on this, but I thought the Americans didn't like to use the cbr model as it uses up the conector they need for the IRC module (their bikes are restricted), so they use the cb model instead.
The PCV on my 08 is a cbr model but only has 2 connectors & 1 tps.

Can I have second dibs on this if the price is right? I'm going to put on a yoshi can, and if it doesn't run right, then I'll go the pcv route.

Of course, its actually been set up with a Yoshi slip so i'll leave the map on there if you like. I'll give OP a day or so to read this and see if he wants it - otherwise PM me laterz.

Sorry chaps, like i said - i'm lazy and dont look in there!

If there are a few people that want it, i guess the fairest thing to do is post it in the For Sale section? I have other bits like ASV levers which i'm going to sell so keep an eye in there. I just need to make sure all the parts are together and its not missing anything.

Sorry OP for hijacking the thread a bit..

Well this is an interesting forum, answers and possible sales in the one thread  So I am ok to use either pc5's as we don't need the IRC.
zeepony I will PM you now about the PC5 as long as I am not stepping on anyone's toes??

Yes, just make sure you use a cbr map if you choose to fit a cb PCV!
