I would stick with the Blade mate, or exchange it for a newer one. If i hadn't put so much money into the 10r i would be going back to a Blade right now it just seemed effortless to ride around a track and i watch Mick and Matty putting in 1:44's round Oulton on a track day effortlessly both on Blades.....

hear what ya saying Matt but think how much more your pushing than when you started out on your blade!!

The blade is mega, and very forgiving handling wise but you got to keep it right in the money, whereas the kwaks can use the power to compensate imo.

I prob won't be changing tbh... For financial reasons as want to try and squeeze one more season out of it.... But it's no surprise the paddock is full of zx10's... And personally I do think id go quicker on one.

Ever think they are dong 1.44's cos they are there every week? More about the rider mate ;)

tbh jimbo, nothing to do with the power at this kind of level (as far mick and matt go).Mick won the hottrax newcomers on his blade so not a 1 track wonder, and matt laps(ed) faster on his 675.

it may come as a suprise, but i've just bought another blade :),so i can hopefully do some proper back to back comparison with the beemer.theres no doubt the beemer is faster, but i think it needs a faster rider to make it faster if you know what i mean.

That's what I just said! It's about the rider.... And track time and experience is worth so much more

Totally agree mate, not saying the blade is holding me back at all.... Some tracks it comes to my benefit. Others it doesn't.

I do fancy a bit of a change and I think if you can use the newer bikes to your advantage you can benefit...

And I'm sorry the power does make a difference, good riders are good riders and just faster, quite a few guys 'at this level' will hold me up in corners to then pull enough of a gap to start the process again. Can be frustrating....

Some of this might be down to them using all the power the TC will give them though ;)
