Hi Guys I bought a Arrow GP2 titanium from eBay few weeks ago right .. Said it was new right ... Said it came with infill panel right ... Said came with springs right .... Well very not right it arrived filled with carbon so it has been on a bike previously, dented end can springs and infill missing and just generally in poor condition I will post pics of his advert etc avoid him like the plague... I contacted pay pal who have made him give me a refund baring the postage so not too bad I paid £375.00 for this bag of shit not good now not got a nice slip on for me blade have to keep using standard one till something comes up if you k ow of anyone selling one let me know guys take care a warning and the seller at first tried to get me to send the monies as a gift yeah right tosser him
Why have PayPal not refunded the postage? My understanding is that you should have a full refund including postage as the item was misrepresented. Or did you mean the postage of the item back to the seller? In which case I would have held it to ransom as he blatantly tried to con you, he should foot the bill for it's return.
Postage is not covered (been there, done that, and I didn't get a refund of the original postage, nor the cost of posting the item back...)
Hi Bish I'll have a think... The whole exhaust thing was never this complicated on me old ninja ... I ripped old can off chucked new one on and boom noise lol but this blade looks to have to have a new exhaust then a pc5 then remap mess about with lambda sensor etc think I may wait till winter buy new racefit manifold back section and pc5 do it properly what do u think guys
That still doesn't sound right (morally or legally). I understand that it it the buyers responsibility to return the item, but how is it fair that the seller should not refund the postage for an item that was misrepresented? Did you submit the claim through ebay or PayPal?
Yes mate I agree fully he cons me and I have to pay wtf is all that shit about not good man not impressed at all I bought the first one that came along bro if I looked more I could have found a better one not happy
Stu, Just keep the item for couple of extra... weeks. Make him ask politely to have it back and apologise for conning you. Reply after another extra 3-4 days... well, you've been on holidays, right? ;-)
postage should be covered i got a refund recently and ebay sent me a postage label to print which covered costs
I understand your pain, but if a little carbon is such an issue why don't you just buy it new from a shop!?
Stu, you are not alone! Class myself as a seasoned eBayer, recently bought a set of HRE wheels for my motor, seller describes as them as needing a refurb to be mint if you are fussy, but are in excellent condition. I actually rang the guy, spoke to him regarding previous repairs, condition of tyres, wheels etc etc. Reassures me everything is fine, no repairs, tyres excellent, etc etc. Pays my money, courier collects and delivers to me. Open the packages.....2 wheels have had horrendous weld repairs to cracks on the inside of the wheels, 2 tyres are illegal for road use, 1 is flat and the wheels are all corroded on the inside of the barrels where they have been kept in damp storage!! Got my £1500 back, but not courier costs, as item was collection only, it was my choice to use courier service! Had obviously used old photos to advertise them. So there you go bud, you are not alone, keep smiling and looking for a new pipe of course! Try and get one of this site, have only had my bike a couple of months and have bought a hugger, rear integrated tail light, bike stand, swing arm & frame covers all from members on here and have been an absolute dream to deal with.
Really bad shit Russ was so fxxking anoyed brov if i could find him "in the words or Mr TAKEN Nelson" I will find you and kill you lol
Iv been shafted like this from forum members...not here...but on a car forum.. If I deal outside eBay..I always add 4% to my cost were possible...unless its a small value item...
