Right guys just fitted the HPS crash protection kit for the ABS 2010 Blade... Well what can I say it has to be the worse kit I have ever fitted instructions were terrible the machines parts wasn't too great quality and the general fitting was awkward and difficult all told I did complete the job they do look good. I was shocked how long it Took to remove the plastics and the poor build quality the front nose area was terrible when re assembling has anyone else with same year bike noticed same ?? I had a ninja before and that was easy to work on and quality was key quite disillusioned let me know your thoughts , I have me more part to fit not the racefit black edition can't wait
How much was the kit fella and where from? I want the crash mushrooms but don't want to drill fairings !
Yeah man I bought directly from HPS man. The kit cost me £147.00 and £48.00 ish for adapter kit for ABS wasn't too bad really to fit man just a bit of a pig as instructions were in Belgium lol
No problems man, how do u find the quality of the bike in general man I find the actual engineering welding blah blah blah all superb. But the plastics got a lot to be desired bro wtf is plastic screws all about man done me head in lol
Ha ha ha I did think that man the Kawasaki guys build there bikes all parts are quality man I was quite disturbed lol ha ha
Yeah a good engineered kit shame bout that Belgian instructions lol may as well have been Belgian chocolates thing is would have finished them sooner lol
I thought the plastics on the bike are very cleverly engineered. A bit flimsy in places but it's very solid when all put together ... The inner air tube clips also do my head in lol ...
Thanks brother I am really critical on everything man it's not a good trait don't sleep if I think something not absolutely spot on lol think I should call myself OCD lol
I was dreading it the first time ... It really is very easy though if you follow the guide on Fireblade.dk
