Simple one for you in the know - who makes the best race fairings? By this I mean not just strength but fit and finish quality?
i've used pro fibre on the blade which was very good,and on the beemer,fit+finish are very good,but are quite heavy (but strong) just got some CRC for the blade aswell,a lot lighter,but not as strong.the seat pad (if you choose to use it) is very good,but not cheap@ around £80,just for the seat pad.cheaper if you buy it with the seat unit.just make sure you specify HRC or stock (for any fairings ) as the tank cover and tail unit is different.
Ah ok cool. Aside from thickness would you say that the fit is generally the same quality on both? And given the option, would you choose one over the other? Thanks for your time mate.
Get the cheapest ones and make them fit.... They all look the same in the bin A16 ain't perfect but fit well and look ok. Had crc ones which looked nice but really didn't crash well
yea i think thats the problem with CRC,well made,light+thin=a mess when you crash you selling thatt seat pad jimbo?
Ive got a that seat though if I'm sure could be persuaded... was going to keep, but I'm sure a decent offer will part it from me
Shopping list: fairings (top, lower, tank, seat unit and seat pad) - my bike is a 2011 but I am going to get 2012> fairings as I understand they will fit with no troubles air intake pipes for 2012> bike subframe if deciding to go down HRC route (and subsequently an HRC seat unit to fit the subframe) dzeus clips screen dash and top fairing mount ... anything else I have missed?

Pro fibre for me too he's nice bloke also. With crc rear cause I love the seats. I got extra fibre put on it as it is proper thin u could see daylight through it
Last question - sorry! It's my first set of track fairings so interested to know. Do you guys bother painting them, or just run them as is? I'm thinking of spraying white and sticking some basic decals on to cheers things up a little.

Rattle can me up!!! Few stickers and jobs a good'n.... Race paint is great when you are bored in the winter and clearly want to blow some bike related money
