Is there to be a new blade in 2016? Mine is getting on in years, like me!

And it will look the same as the current model but will allegedly only share like 5% of the parts. Does different stickers constitute a different part?[emoji52]

Think it's just a case of it'll come out when it comes out now!

Look how long yamaha took to release a totally new R1, all the Japanese factories are taking longer to renew their sports bikes compared to European factories

honda have to propose a new bike ! completely new.

Except in the TT, they have very poor Championship results ...... cause the bike is very old and teams can't tuned it like they want.

But the TT is a road race and that's where most of us ride most of the time :) WIN

There is a good review of all the latest sports bike in Bike magazine , and while the Blade is a tad slower, lacks the technology of the others and is 'considered' old they included it because last year it was the top selling litre bike.

What they also said is on the road the plush suspension, quality of ride and finish meant it was also the bike the testers would have chosen to ride to the south of France / Spain if needed with luggage loaded on it.

I know not everyone does that of course but the real world ability as referenced with the TT wins shows its still a more than credible product - add a good quick shifter and some lightweight wheels and I bet the result would have been closer in the test yet cost still thousands less - remember a new blade is around 2/3 the price of a new R1 now for example and £5,000 is one heck of a saving.

Exact, but in terms of engine, handling and electronic, it out of the battle.

Enjoy the bike, is not only having a performance bike, it's just having a smile beside our helmet.
And to having test and ride the latest s1000rr r1 and Rsv4, the blade is a very good bike but not fun as the other.
Mine is different and I love it but for stock bike, it's just a good bike but behind the other.
    Sorry for my English lol.
