Side light issue

    I had to fit a new LH mirror / indicator unit to my 08 and i've just noticed that the side light LED on the new one is orange where the old one is white, can anyone who owns a 09 10 or 11 plate confirm the colour of their sidelight. It's not an issue as i have the old lens out the knackered one to swap over, i'm just curious if later models had a different colour and would this effect an MOT as i thought you could only have white light on the front. Cheers ..

    Sounds like you bought a copy mirror not an oem one ??

    No mate, its OEM from donnington motostore in Derby. Brand new boxed in honda oem packaging.

    I think it would, All forward facing lights other than the indicators have to be white.

    Yup, it's American spec mate. Get your money back, as it's a faff changing it yourself.

    Deffo not GB spec as it needs white at the front . I had mine apart a while ago to see if I could fit an LED main bulb .
    I dont think it would be too difficult to swap your old circuit board over to the new one . But you shouldn't need to if you bought it here
